Hello! Happy Friday! This is a short Dispatch because I’m in Vegas with my brother, continuing our age-old tradition of visiting every Walgreens on the strip, as we have for three Octobers in a row. Sure there’s also concerts and stuff but we come for the SHOPPING.
The good news is, I would be boring anyway, even if I weren’t typing this from a bus stop outside Caesar’s Palace! All I did this week was read, rehearse and run lines. That’s the grown-up theatre kid equivalent of reading, writing and ‘rithmetic !

A copy of the new Lily King book at Hudson News (but it was TEMPTING, even with my Kindle and two other print books in hand)
I did not rent the “keep all your stuff jammed in here” storage locker for our music festival, and now they’re sold out, SORRY!
A matcha latte, anywhere, because I finally improved my milk-frothing skills and have successfully made a very balanced matcha latte at home
The nasty-sounding “protein cold foam” drinks at Starbucks!?!!!! Ewwww!?!
