Look, I’ll level with you: I’m exhausted. I have four in-progress end-of-year posts and one actual Friday Dispatch that’s halfway written, and I’m sorry that you will have to wait for all of them! Next week sometime. I’m tired and don’t want to do anything. I apologize, and also, that’s why God made the first half of January. The first half of January is for being halfway alive. The second half of January is for accomplishing everything you ever set out to do in life.
